Do you have a favourite poem? Poetry at Sprout will be at Sprout Arts on Moyser Road every two months on Friday evening 7-9pm.
Pass On A Poem is changing! But only in name. Poetry At Sprout (PAS) will next meet at 7.00pm on Friday at Sprout Arts. Bring a favourite poem - by someone else - to our friendly group and be amazed!

As always, please choose a poem to read. If there is time, after an interval we'll read any further poems that people have brought, so bring a spare. Please let us know the title and author of your first poem a couple of days ahead so we can draw up an initial running order.
“We don’t read poems because, like bran flakes, they’re good for us; we read them because we love them – and if you haven’t found a poem you really love, keep looking and I am sure you will.” Erica Wagner
CHAT meets at Sprout Arts on Tuesday evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm. That's COLOUR, HANDS AND THREADS but really it's the opportunity to chat while we work on our own piece of textile work. We're an open, informal group who are variously interested in working with fibres and colours in our hands - patchwork, applique, knitting and crochet, embroidery, weaving, spinning and plying, sewing and much else. CHAT offers no tuition but you're welcome to pick the brains of those present. Contact Geraldine Kelly on 07737 200110 or This email address is being protected from spambots. About me:
My name is Geraldine Kelly. I’ve lived locally in Furzedown for about 20 years. Over many years, I have dabbled in lots of different textile techniques including some of those mentioned above. I enjoy learning new techniques and trying to work things out, or at least having a go.
