The Furzedown Project’s Photography Group is exhibiting members photographs on the theme of ‘Celebrating Photography’. This is the group's first exhibition and on display is a large range of photographs from steam trains to animals, landscapes and abstracts. They have been produced by a group of around 12 photographers each with different styles and interests.

This year they have produced a yearbook and calendar as well the exhibition.

The Furzedown Project is an activity centre for older people 60+ located in the community of Furzedown, in the borough of Wandsworth.

This is a new group, thriving and still very much open to new members with an interest in improving as photographers. They meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10-12.00pm. The sessions cover a range of activities including discussion of members photographs, technical issues and trips to parks and events.
